A bridge between Sweden and Syria
We are building an independent platform for development, participation and cultural exchange.
LEVANT DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE is a non-profit, independent and politically non-partisan association based in Malmö, Sweden.
Our purpose is to serve as a development and cultural bridge between Sweden and Syria, while creating opportunities for individuals and local communities to learn, participate and develop.
Our activities may take place in Sweden and internationally, including Syria, in accordance with Swedish legislation and applicable regulations in the countries where we operate.
Our approach
We focus on practical development, knowledge exchange, local participation and cooperation. We believe that sustainable change is strengthened when people have the knowledge, skills and opportunities to take part in shaping their communities.
